Omar Sharif Bridge Card Game App Reviews

I have played this game in the old version thousands of times and other than some very poor partner bidding on occasion, felt it to a good app. The update is a wreck. Hard to read and see cards, way too busy, and what in the world do those info hints even mean?? I want my old version back!

The new version of Omar Sharif Bridge is visually disturbing. The animations are jerky and distracting. No regard for users needing to concentrate. The old version was great; pity it was ruined.

I updated on my phone. Didnt like it but thought it would be better on my iPad. I was wrong. Its awful. Too busy, what is up with the little hearts that shoot out of the cards when you play them. Cant read the cards. This used to be one of my favorites. Dont buy this app or if you already have it, dont update.

Update is a wreck. Ruined the game, hectic, distracting, hard to read and the info addition? What do they even mean most of the time. Bring back the old version.

The upgrade is terrible. I agree with all the other reviews. I guess Ill have to find another bridge game if you dont give back the old version. If its not broke dont fix it.

This used to be a good game to play. Have no idea why they thought this was a good update. It is just plain awful to use. After I updated, I deleted the game off all my devices. Will never play one again.

This app is much improved from earlier versions. Its the gold standard of single player bridge games.

If it isnt broken dont fix it. The card arrangement is terrible. Color combinations are too similar in shade values who needs and value of the cards reads right to left. Some of us read right to left, cards get rearranged automatically as they are played which is EXTREEMELY distracting. This version was automatically downloaded never to be used again. I am looking for another bridge app. Goodby for good Omar.

I hate this update. Its as if a child designed it, twirling cards-why? Its too cluttered and busy. The cards are too small when bidding and the bidding tiles are unnecessarily large. Mostly annoying and not as much fun. Why can we no longer see this and previous ratings? Is it because they were ALL negative?

Please put it back the way it was!! I dont like the way the cards deal. My partner has lost its mind and bids 4NT at the drop of a hat.

Not my favorite bridge game but its good practice. The negative reviews are unfair since most of their complaints can be rectified by simply going to the settings menu and make the changes you want.

The update is awful. They took a very decent bridge app, and completely changed it for no apparent reason. Ive always had some issue with partner bidding, but its seems worse. Doesnt seem to hold to any particular convention. The cards fly around like a hurricane when dealt, you cant change the speed of the game so the computer hands fly around the board at warp speed. Bridge isnt an adventure game. Its a thoughtful endeavor. Whomever revamped this, didnt understand that at all. Dont bother with this version.

At first, the early 2016 major update took some getting used to. Now, I evaluate it as excellent. The app performance is much faster, there are many more options for card face and back designs, it seems more intuitive to get to all of the options than in the previous version, during play the card size is larger which is helpful. The twriling cards are a little silly, but not annoying. The only missing feature - both in the previous and current version - is the option to replay the previous hand, after it has completed, i.e., after Review.
