Omar Sharif Bridge Card Game App Reviews

Finalmente il Bridge su ipod touch

Sicuramente può e deve essere migliorato, ma finalmente il nostro Omar Sharif anche su Ipod touch. Grande! E ora mi aspetto che venga costantemente aggiornato e migliorato.

Interface unusable

The developers may have written a great engine but they didnt try to drive the car. The bid buttons take up half the screen while the cards are too small and scrunched to read. The screen doesnt rotate to horizontal. No undo. The bid sheet is buried under commands and has no spacing so takes a long time to decipher. And so on. Not money well spent, it may have a good bridge program in the background but thats irrelevant if you cant readily play it.

trump placement

Why isnt the trump placed on the left when the dummy is put on the board

AI partner is very bad

I dont think its just a feeling that the AI partner bids horribly and often wildly aggressive while the opponent AIs seem to bid immaculately. I am constantly being set because my partner AI is bidding us to the moon. Please fix. Very frustrating.

Worst game ever

Bridge is a game of statistics. you should get some chance to play. But this one only gives you hands to pass out!

Needs update for new ipade

The app displays 1/4 of the screen and will not resize :(

Omar Bridge

I agree with most of the other reviewers. North and south do not get very many biddable hands. If I continue to play like they do I will never win another bridge game at my bridge clubs. Has the rule changed for an opening two bid? The computer bidders open with two while holding nothing...so to speak! I still have fun playing this game.

I pad 3

On I pad 3 app does not appear full screen - only one fourth. I have had this app for I pads one and two. Every update has made it worse.

Omar Bridge

What happened yo the full screen game? It was there; now it isnt. Why have it on the iPad "3" if it is hardly larger than the iPhones screen. Please study bidding. One No Trump bids are fairly even distribution and 16 to 18 points -- not 13 to 14 points. North often " responds" with a bid with hardly any points. Please ask the creator to make this more like a real bridge game.

Make Full Screen

I just got the iPad 3 and I am extremely disappointed that this expensive app does not show full screen for those of us who love bridge but have poor eyesight. Until this app is updated to be full screen, I will keep my rating as a 1 and tell people not to buy.

Sad!

This app has gone from one of my favorites to horrible since I moved to new iPad. Update, please!

DOES NOT SUPPORT iPad 3

This is a great game for the first iPad ....but desperately needs to Upgrade to support the iPad 3. I was shocked....it shows a small, small version way up in the left hand corner. Its hard to tell spades from clubs and hearts from diamonds. I have written the developer but no response.

Magnifying glass please

Fix their screen, great game but no fun if you cant play it without a microscope :/ ugh

Omar Shariff Bridge

I was very disappointed to receive this app. It is no different than Bridge Lite which was free. I will not be so quick to order another app.

So so app

No help, poor interface, no undo, no instrction or explanation of why your partner or opponent did what they did (or bid); too many assumptions by the programmers. Overpriced and not well thought out for either novice or experienced player.

Great App

This app is the best program for Bridge I have found. Graphics are suburb, speed of the game is great, controls give anything you want - including undo, suggested bids and plays is a wonderful instructor, scoring is always correct and selected hands give you a win when you have just been beaten by the ever-smart computer. I had Omar Sharif Bridge for my Palm phone and this is every bit as good and better. The functions are easy and intuitive and the play quite fun. It is far, far better than programs costing four times as much, and of course better than the freebie.

Omar Sharif Bridge

Most disappointing- no different than Bridge Lite and that app is free. Poor rep.for Omar Sharif . R.E.

Omar Sharif Bridge

Not worth the money. Not able to replay the hand, or undo a play. Also, does not give hints. Not at all educational. Very disappointed in this app.

Bridge Out Of Control

Once a hand is dealt there appears no way to follow through the bidding process, one player at a time. The bidding just reaches a conclusion. This resulted in one hand in which declarer, South (human) reached a contract of 5 Clubs with only 10 points & without South once entering a bid of any kind. Omar Sharif has a good reputation in Bridge circles but developer doesnt seem to be doing that reputation any favors with an app that has no control. As fAr as Im concerned Pass is the only reasonable response to buying this app, whatever the price.

Great game

Im not sure what the 2 star reviewers are talking about. If you press the ? you get a Hint on what card to play. Also, you can Undo at any point, and bidding is one player at a time, just like playing with humans. (Maybe they selected auto play?) I think they need a lesson. My only complaint is that when a game is finished and you are reviewing, and possibly want to Replay game, the app closes and no way to get back to previous game.
